National Gas is keen to raise the profile of LPG from being merely a household cooking fuel, to its true status as a clean, convenient and reliable alternative to polluting fuels.

Internationally, these advantages of LPG are being utilized fruitfully and we aim to adapt the latest technologies to unleash the full potential of LPG to add value and benefit to the local community and industry.

Programs

National Gas has embarked on many consumer awareness drives aimed at not only enhancing the consumer’s knowledge of the benefits of using a clean and efficient fuel such as LPG, but also educating them about the safe and convenient methods that need to be considered while handling a potent fuel like LPG.

National Gas periodically circulates safety leaflets educating consumers on safe handling of LPG cylinders. This program is supported by Royal Oman Police (ROP) – Civil Defence. We also run an aperiodic campaign called “Safety Pays”, that targets children and youth to propagate the concept of safety in young minds.
