National Gas makes foray into Malaysia
Known for being the lifeline of the Energy sector in the Sultanate, National Gas Company SAOG now establishes foothold in the Malaysian market. The company’s very own innovation NC+ Cutting Gas has been highly successful during trials in the Malaysian industry. To meet the growing demands in this market National Gas has partnered with Global Gas LLC, Malaysia. Previously, metal cutting has been done with Acetylene but NC+ offers unmatched economy on over-all cutting costs and excellent cutting speed, apart from replacing 6 acetylene cylinders with a single NC+ cylinder. NC+ is safer and operator friendly, it is non toxic and incase of a leak can be immediately detected. NC+ is widely used in industries like Steel, Engineering, Mining, Shipping yards and Oilfield services.
At the City Gas Asia 2011 summit at Kuala Lumpur, Mr. Goutam Sen, Chief Executive Officer, National Gas Company SAOG, besides launching NC+, also introduced LPP Combustion LLC, a fuel technology and equipment supplier which provides clean energy solutions. LPP enables power suppliers and industrial users to generate clean energy through renewable, alternative or traditional liquid fuels. It converts liquid fuels into a substitute natural gas which can be burnt in conventional combustor hardware extremely cleanly thus reducing global warming. Mr. Sen said, “It is our responsibility as an energy solutions provider to introduce customer focused technology that is environment friendly and National Gas strongly believes in green and eco-label products like NC+ and LPP.” Mr. Sen was accompanied by co-inventor of the LPP technology, Dr. Leo Eskin, who said, “We believe LPP will provide a viable alternate to energy deficient industries especially in the emerging markets and we see National Gas as our chosen partner to help us achieve these objectives.”
National Gas Company SAOG plans to introduce NC+, LPP and other innovations across the Middle East and Far East Asian markets in the coming months.
