National Gas Supports Plant A Book
National Gas, Oman’s pioneering Energy Solutions Company supports ‘Plant A Book’ which is a thoughtful charity initiative that pledges to enhance its stance towards even better corporate social responsibility. Event initiative by Areej T&C, Plant A Book aims to support a noble cause by annually.
A simple concept, Plant-a-Book relooks at a simple idea – to use the power of books and the passion of book lovers in Muscat and channelize the efforts towards a good cause. It is a focused, charity drive by National Gas, which also seeks to bring the people of Muscat on a common platform – to share, experience, encourage, inspire and participate in this noble cause. ‘Plant-a-Book’ remains set to generate never-before response in creating awareness about Thalassemia – a hereditary blood disorder passed down through families.
Plant-a-Book is a unique chance, to give back to the society by donating old books at Drop boxes, placed at strategic locations at all Pizza Hut and Lulu Hypermarket outlets till 25th July! Subsequently, from 27th to 29th July 2011, a mega resale of donated books will be held at Bareeq Al Shatti, where an even larger collection of books will be available at unbelievable prices!
