National Gas’ Integrated Meter Reading system to boost customer service
In a constant endeavour to bring innovative products for the benefit of its customers, National Gas Company SAOG, introduced the advance Telemetry based LPG tank level monitoring system, Integrated Meter Reading (IMR). This unique product has been created with the technical collaboration of AIUT, Poland. The system gives real time data through a remote access mechanism. This system is available online and eliminates any occurrence of bulk customers running out of LPG anytime.
“Our customers will be able to monitor the LPG tank levels at the click of the button” said, Mr. Sanjeev Sinha, Deputy General Manager - Operations, National Gas Company SAOG. “Customers’ LPG tank levels can be monitored on regular basis through the web portal and deliveries can be made automatically without waiting for customers’ indents which ensures that gas is available at all times. The telemetry system can be installed in any LPG storage tank which is above the ground for monitoring the real time tank levels through remote access.”
The IMR has additional features such as - online gas monitoring and consumption control, alarms at refilling gas levels, critical gas flow, tanks overflow. The system reduces the chances of any mishap which may occur in the field and marks an important step forward in National Gas’ initiatives to provide superior service to its valued customers.
