Muscat. April, 03, 2010: Oman’s premier Energy solutions company National Gas Company SAOG, participated in the prestigious City Gas MENA 2010 summit at Abu Dhabi.
Mr. Goutam Sen, Chief Executive Officer, National Gas Company along with Dr. Leo Eskin, President and Chief Operating Officer, LPP Combustion LLC presented a breakthrough solution for large real estate projects in the region vide their presentation “ LPP: Conversion of Liquid Fuels to Natural Gas for future energy needs“. LPP Combustion is a Fuel Technology providing clean energy solutions for natural gas starved projects. The tested and patented technology enables power suppliers to generate renewable energy as an alternative for traditional fossil fuels. This technology converts liquid fuels into a substitute natural gas which can be burned extremely cleanly in conventional combustor hardware. It is applicable to gas turbines, furnaces, boiler burners and reciprocating engines providing flexible liquid fuel source while reducing emissions. The entire process uses the existing equipment and infrastructure and also reduces the maintenance cost while providing rapid customer payback.
Speaking at the summit Mr. Goutam Sen said “LPP offers an extremely viable single point solution for electricity, district cooling and heating utilities while ensuring maximum environmental benefits and is therefore an ideal fuel source for large scale residential and industrial projects of the future.”
City Gas MENA offers the platform to the stalwarts of the Oil & Gas Industry to bring forth the latest in the energy sector. The summit offers a common ground for the solution providers to familiarize the fellow members with the latest technology and also provides the opportunity for networking.
