National Gas Company, SAOG, a fully Omani owned Joint Stock Company with a share capital of RO 2 Million is the pioneer in LP Gas Marketing in the Sultanate of Oman. The company started commercial operations in 1981 and has today spread its wings over the entire country by having 8 strategically located plants. The Parent Plant at Rusayl is spread over 24,000 Sq. mtr area and has been serving the capital area efficiently since 1981. National Gas with its eight plants, efficient tanker fleet and trained personnel is proud to be the largest LP Gas supplier serving the domestic, commercial and industrial consumers of the nation; efficiently, reliably and safely.   Operations   National Gas Company  operates a large fleet of tankers to lift Bulk LP Gas from refineries around Oman and supply to our plants; where they are bottled in safe and controlled conditions into valid, tested cylinders. Thereafter, National Gas’ strong distributor network ensures timely delivery of Gas onward to households and commercial establishments. The 22 KG cylinder is very popular with the households whereas the 44 KG cylinder is patronized by the commercial establishments such as Restaurants, Hospitals, Kitchens and Industries. Apart from this, LP Gas is also distributed in bulk to high volume consumers such as Hotels, Hospitals, Defence Establishments, Industries and Labour camps etc. National Gas can design, install and operate the Bulk Gas System for its customers. National Gas has also made a foray into the Aerosol Propellant business and supplies deodorized LPG to industries manufacturing perfumes, deodorants, pesticides, etc. – as an environment friendly alternative to ozone depleting CFC’s.   Safety   National Gas’ systems are built strongly around ensuring optimum public service.
